Mount Pleasant Harvest Fair 2016

Mount Pleasant Village, Between Eglinton & Davisville, Toronto

Join us at the Mount Pleasant Harvest Fair for an afternoon of Festivities! The Sean Stanley Trio & Miss Dior will be throwing down 3 sets of soulfully swingin Jazz & Blues. Come spend a Saturday with us!

This family-friendly event will see the return of Harvest Fair activities like the Pumpkin Carving contest, crowd favourites like the Apple Pie eating contest, and of course, kids favourites like the petting zoo and arts and crafts stations. In addition to the returning activations, the Mount Pleasant Village BIA will also have at least 5 live bands along the street as well as a few local artists displaying their work. Please note that you may be photographed at this event, and photos may be published to our website and various social media streams.

We'll be outside on a Sunday afternoon bringing you live Jazz & Blues while you enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Evergreen Brick Works, and get your shopping on at their renowned Farmer's Market and the fascinating world of Etsy.

Miss Dior & The Sean Stanley Trio will be featured performers at this amazing event in beautiful Niagara Falls. A recognition of true “Unity in Diversity” featuring music and multi-cultural performances displaying to the world how beautiful our differences can be. This is a unique opportunity to come together and enjoy an experience that honors our differences, all with the backdrop of the majestic and wondrous Niagara Falls. We will have Sean Stanley on keys/vocals, Galen Weir on upright bass, Kenneth Wong on drums, and Miss Dior on vocals. Miss Dior will also be singing the National Anthem, with The Sean Stanley Trio backing her, to kick off the concert and celebrate Canada Day!

The Oneness concert is an event that is part of the NIS Tribute to Humanness taking place at Niagara Falls. The Tribute to Humanness is a multi-day inspirational program featuring devotional concerts, creative arts, health events, and an international conference giving tribute to humanness and highlighting the values and virtues we should all live by every day.

Tribute to Humanness is being brought to you by Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) Canada Inc., a registered charitable and non-profit organization. SNM participates in a variety of volunteer activities to heal, empower and enrich society. The organization’s environmental activities, support for the underprivileged, community clean-ups, and blood drives have gained universal acclaim. SNM is recognized by the United Nations and has been granted Special Consultative Status. In 2015, SNM was honored with the Queen’s Award for Outstanding Voluntary Service in the United Kingdom. These are just some of the growing list of international commendations.

Check out this vibrant and historic community! The local Mirvish Village Business Improvement Area has organized Spring, Summer and Fall Sidewalk Sale Fest Events! On Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 1-5pm all are invited to join us for some great deals and finds-vintage, artisan and new. Enjoy some tasty bites from local restaurants and a great new roster of live music for this year’s events.
