We were at Harlem Restaurant located at 67 Richmond Street East this past Thursday November 6th for their Open House. THE FOOD HERE IS RIDICULOUS. Yup. Catfish was on point and the Fried Chicken with Rice and Peas were so proper. The upstairs space is really funky, yet intimate, and perfect for taking in some live music. It was our absolute pleasure performing and eating here. The staff was super chill and friendly, the space is decorated with really cool and odd furniture and antiques, and the building itself has a fascinating history. We're excited we get to perform here again this Friday, November 14th. Sean and Myself will be there playing 2 sets of mostly covers we've reworked in our unique style. You'll also be treated to one of Sean's originals, "Scarborough Stomp", which is his nod to the East End. In addition, we'll also be treating you to our very special guest Casey Van Gorkom, a guitarist and bassist who is also 1/6th of Turbo Street Funk, an energetic, funky Toronto Band. Casey will be playing a blues guitar set that we know you'll enjoy.
If you're free Friday night, you should definitely come check us out and have some amazing food.
