New Sunday Residency @ Bar Hop for April 

Catch us at our NEW RESIDENCY for the month of April at Bar Hop on the Danforth.  This relatively new venue features live music for the Sunday Jazz Brunch series, and you can find us there every Sunday in April (and the 1st Sunday of May).  The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm.  This venue has a lovely little stage that shows just how much they support live music and musicians.

Sunday Brunch with a side of soulful jazz is the perfect way to kick off your spring season!

A Christmas Celebration: Food Bank Fundraiser

Birchcliff Bluffs United Church, 33 East Road, Toronto

Christmas in story and song will be the theme as Birchcliff Bluffs UC presents its annual fundraiser in support of the Churches By the Bluffs Community Services Food Bank, located at its site.

Featuring: a dramatic presentation with music, familiar carols and other musical selections that will capture the wonder and joy of the season.

Guest musicians:

– jazz pianist and vocalist Sean Stanley – singer Sokhna-Dior – singer Mitchell Daniels – singer Melody Wolfe

Seasonal music will also be provided by the BBUC choir under the direction of Mark Oracion.

As well, stories reflecting the spirit and goodwill of Christmas will be presented by Don Gray, filmmaker and retired head of Centennial College's Film and Broadcasting program, and Rev. Cynthia Stretton of BBUC.

A live and intimate night with Sean Stanley and Sokhna-Dior in Harlem. Come enjoy the delicious food and stay for the show. We'll be upstairs all night stompin' and swingin'. We will also have our special guest Casey van Gorkom, a guitarist and bassist who is also 1/6th of Turbo Street Funk, an energetic, funky Toronto Band. Casey will be playing a blues guitar set that we know you'll enjoy.
